Pauline Kim Harris and Conrad Harris

2020 Season

String Noise performed during the Hiroyuki Hamada exhibition opening event. Opening with flutters and whispers in Salvatore Sciarrino’s Caprice No. 1, unfolding with a single glissando in Mikka and Mikka S by Iannis Xenakis, into an array of sonorous textures in Dark, Light by Jessie Cox, concluding with intricately intertwining mosaics like glass chards in Michael Byron’s Fabric for String Noise, violinists Conrad Harris and Pauline Kim Harris presented an extreme program of avant-garde music for violins.
